Counselling

What is counselling?

Counselling is a type of talking therapy that provides a safe, confidential space for individuals to discuss their thoughts, feelings, and concerns with a trained professional. It’s designed to help people better understand their emotions, cope with challenges, and find solutions to personal difficulties.

Counselling is often short-term and focuses on specific issues such as stress, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, or low self-esteem. Unlike some other therapies, counselling is generally more focused on the present and finding practical ways to move forward.

A counsellor offers support, guidance, and strategies to help individuals make positive changes in their lives. Through active listening and open conversations, counselling can empower people to gain clarity, build resilience, and improve their overall well-being.

How can counselling help me?

Counselling can help you in numerous ways by providing a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions. Here's how it can make a positive impact:

4. Enhanced Self-Understanding

  • Helps you navigate family, friendship, or romantic relationship challenges.
